Double Sunday

Double Sunday is the thickest version of Sandnes Garn’s 100 % merino wool yarn. It is a soft, versatile base yarn that is not superwash treated. The yarn can be knitted on its own, held double or together with Tynn Silk Mohair for a softer, fluffier look.

Merino wool keeps you warm while wicking moisture away from the body. Thanks to the natural properties of the wool fibre, the garment also stays warm even when it is damp. This makes Double Sunday ideal for sweaters, cardigans, hats and other garments that should be both warm and comfortable to wear.

The wool comes from sheep that have not been subjected to mulesing.

Wash the garment separately on a gentle wool programme. Spin well and leave it to dry flat, preferably on a towel. Do not use a laundry bag, as the friction can cause the garment to felt.
