Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn has been around since 1938 and is a classic yarn in 100 % Norwegian wool. Its structure and good springiness make it especially popular for cardigans, sweaters and other garments that should keep their shape over time.
Norwegian wool is hard-wearing and light, and it gets softer the more the garment is used. The result is durable garments that can be worn for a long time and happily passed on to the next generation.
Because wool breathes, the garment does not need washing very often. Feel free to air it between wears. For machine washing, a separate, gentle wool programme is recommended. Spin well and leave the garment to dry flat, preferably on a towel. Do not use a laundry bag, as the friction can cause the garment to felt.
